I have some kind of virus or trojan or something that keeps sending me to surveys and how to make money sites. I have tried every virus/spyware software I can find but nothing removes it.  Poptab com is one but there are others.

Can anyone help with a way to eradicate this vermin?

Thank you

Phi

have you tried https://www.malwarebytes.org/

Personally I would be wiping the drive but understand thats not an option for all.

Remove everything associated with it then

right click on your browser icons, make sure it says something like  "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" and has nothing after it

you can do all the scanning and removing you like to some of them but if you dont remove the forced "home page" every time you open your browser it will keep going back to that page.

Check the dns settings in your router are set to get automatically from the isp. If they have been manually set then you need a new router or a firmware upgrade.
