I'm a kiwi teaching English at a university in South Korea. Its been a while since I studied computers. As part of my preparations for the upcoming semester, I am making an excel spreadsheet:

During this semester, there will be two public holidays (highlighted yellow using conditional formatting). I have calculated my syllabus using a formula based upon when the first day of semester for each class is respectively.

How can I remove these two days (to basically shift each column 'up') without breaking the code for days following the public holiday?

What about changing the text to white?

that way it will look like an empty cell, or did you want it looking tidier than that?

The problem isn't so much for formatting of the values, but more if I delete the dates which are public holidays, that the dates which fall after this continue to be calculated correctly.

So, for example, if I delete the value in B31, all of the dates following that will move up by one (Unit 12B = 8 June)

So I was probably over-complicating things, and given the simple formula, manual entry would be the easiest solution.
