i have a couple of questions probably best posted in the 'website' forum but there's no posting option there for me.

Q1 - how do i whitewash geekzone ads from my adblocker?  there's a banner on my screen when i visit this site asking me to do it and while i'm not thrilled at the prospect it's a reasonable enough request i'm willing to comply with and i could always just not come here if the ads get up my nose too much.  thing is ... i've no idea how to do it.

Q2 - why does it say i only have a handful of posts to my name?  i'm not a frequent visitor but over the years ... in fact many years ... i've posted tonnes of dumb questions.  what up w/that?

Do you mean whitelist?

And if you do, you fail to tell us what Adblock you're using.

I guess it's adblock plus (ugh, person pref is ublock origin, much faster) but to whitelist in adblock plus, read this

i think it's just 'adblock'.  doesn't seem to be any 'plus' added to the title.

Because you've set up multiple accounts. Try sticking to one account and your post count will increase! ;-)

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

You can recover login details - you enter an email address you get the username. You enter a username you get a password reset link.

There's no reason for multiple accounts really.
