I hope I have put this in the correct forum.

Following a suggestion on an earlier poster, I made a purchase from LightinTheBox because they had a particular item I wanted to try.

I made the mistake of not looking at other postings about them, and signed up for an account.

The purchase was no problem, and was just what I wanted at the right price.

That was where the good conduct ended.  I was and still are being absolutely bombarded with emails from them.

No problem, you might think, but their links to unsubscribe do not have any effect.  I have tried and tried to get them off my back, but it seems that they have wised up to one suggestion on another forum  to change my account email address, and that has not worked either.

If any other Geekzoners have found a solution to this stupid mistake by me, I would appreciate suggestions

Not a bargain or deal.

You need to watch where you post things as it does email people with new topics are started.

Mods can you please change this to off topic.

Well they clearly don't seem to be honouring your opt-out requests so wouldn't it just be a case of either setting up a filter/rule on your end to get rid of them?

Yes, I think I have created a filter now.

It is disappointing that they have chosen to use devious means to keep up their spam emails. Obviously they don't realise that no amount of advertising emails will ever get me back to purchasing from them again.

My mistake, I know, I guess I expected better when another Geekzoner suggested LightinThe Box as a good source.
