HTPC Asus Z87i-pro motherboard, Pentium G3258 cpu,2 sticks 4GB DDR3-1333 ram. LG BluRay player  crucial 120GB SSD  ANTEC 380 power supply.  Using integrated graphics. Hauppauge 4400 tv tuner. 2GB WD Hard drive for recordings. Microsoft Media Center remote. Running Windows 10 nowpre anniversary edition.    System is around 18 months old been working flawless.  Last night it wouldnt turn on with remote control so pressed on button on computer. On light and hdd light lights up for approx 1 second then off and attempts to restart. Wouldnt stop so turned power off.  When tried again same thing. This motherboard has bios reset switch at back panel. Pressed that and was then able to boot to bios. Reset settings and now boots up however still reluctantly. Use remote lights up then turns off but now always starts on 3rd attempt.

Has anyone come across this. Reseated ram and checked cables and all okay. Tried DDR3-1600 ram but no change. Havent tried power supply as dont have spare at present but 1 on the way. Once started it runs fine so mum was able to watch her oldie programs tonight.
