I've the NZ language pack installed and set as the default for proofing etc, yet no Maori words, including place names, seem to be in the dictionary. All come up as spelling errors with no suggestions.

I've no longer have access to older versions of Office, but I'm sure the older versions all used to install the Maori spelling.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Are you sure the Maori language pack is installed (yes, you mention it but just in case)?

I didn't have Maori installed, but then never have in the past. Installed it, but still not further forward. Word says both are active for proofing, however consider the following image. Here you will see that the bottom bar says NZ is installed, but on the RHS, it says "Word does not have a dictionary installed for English (New Zealand)"
