I want to apply a washout effect to a picture in word 07. Anyone know how? I have tried so far with no success. Its so annoying. I can make one on the whole page, but if I want to apply a 'washout' effect to an image I just inserted, thats another story! Anyone know how? (again)

Something like this?



When the picture is selected, use the Picture Tools, and under "Adjust" use Recolor.
