My son's computer has a sapphire vapor x HD 7950 in his desk top.
It is displaying the odd black line and a few black pixels on the screen.
Also will often fail to load on monitor.
I have tried loading new drivers and taking card out and re seating it.
The power supply in 650 watts.
Can it be fixed?
If not do people want it for parts.
The fan goes

Hard to say from your description if this could be the problem, but have you tried another monitor?

It was running with a different monitor and had the same problem
I should try it in a different desktop.
My daughter had a sapphire die in a similar way.
I wondered if it was common problem.
Are the fans worth anything

Probably not, unless it's to replace fans on another card of the same model.

And you can buy new OEM fans for around ten bucks off AliX.
