Hullo!

My Asus M2A-VM motherboard has onboard video which I'm using.  However when I set it to my monitors
native resolution (1920x1200) I have to scroll around the desktop to see it.  The full desktop does not show.

I'm a bit lost as to why it would be doing this.  All I have attached is a VGA monitor (Dell 24inch Ultrasharp 16:9 LCD).

Anyone seen this before and know how to fix it?

Cheers,
Grant

Odd.

  • Reboot.
  • Check for driver update.
  • Check for BIOS update.
  • Try different LCD.
  • Try a live Linux CD (to figure out if its h/w or os).
  • Stand on one leg, place cellphone in left pocket (not right - LEFT), bark once (You know, like a dog), and plug a web cam in.

Rinse and repeat.
