So my Logitech master mx 2 arrived today. Litrally 10 minutes later I am able to use the one mouse between my desktop mac and windows 10 pc flowing between the two. Excellent! 

 

Now if I can just find a full size Wireless Mechanical keyboard that will allow me to do the same thing .......

I use to use it many years ago when I had a mac.  The only limitation was (back then, this is about 10 years ago), was it wouldnt work on the windows lock screen, meaning the windows machine had to be the primary controller (KB/M plugged into that and running the server app) and the mac ran the client.  osx was fine with the lock screen using the remote keyboard/mouse.  

 

it was really nice, having a imac sitting next to a windows machine and just moving the mouse between the two, also let you copy/paste things.
