I opened an image attachment from a friend. It opened in Nero PhotoSnap Viewer. A picture came up but then i noticed the "next" and "previous" buttons were showing up so I clicked on them and it has pictures of pages I have viewed in the past! Whats the story with that?? Can I stop it recording these?

I would say that nero has a temp folder of all pictures that you have viewed. It will just be recalling on that temp file each time.
Find it, delete it and you should be okay.

Chances are this file is being put in the same temp folder that all the other apps use. So there will be other programs temp files in there that Nero is reading.

Try go to Start, programs, acessories, system, then click disk cleanup

Cleaning out the temp files should fix this problem
