My son wants to buy a mechanical keyboard. Any recommendation that is bang for the buck? He wants something with LED lights.

This is a Corsair keyboard with Cherry MX Brown switches, its not RGB, but has red LED's.

 

Brown switches are fairly quiet compared to the others.

 

Depending on where the keyboard is located, the other louder switches can drive people insane.
