So i bought some new parts and installed them last night, moving from Intel 1150 4670k to AMD 2600X. Having one issue, were the machine takes 2 or 3 boots to start and load windows. Only running, motherboard/CPU/x4 GB Memory/570 4GB and 1tb NVME m.2 drive. Now my PSU is a 550Watt i think. Could this be the cause of my problem? The only other issue i have is network port is flashing orange, windows 10 1809 says network port is live but no DHCP. everything is at stock.

I had issues booting using similar setup with Ryzen 1600, turns out my NIC driver was out of date and causing issues.

Also is your BIOS up to date?

Ill look at BIOS when i get home, i did run windows updates on the NIC driver and it updated the driver for it. still playing up.

Friend got a Ryzen when they first arrived, and had hell of a time getting it going. Turns out was his RAM timing - so might want to check your RAM timings vs your BIOS settings etc.

But def update BIOS if available.

If it's taking a few boot cycles before you get a proper POST it's most likely unstable clocks. See if you can disable some of the auto-clocking features of ryzen eg. XFR or PBO. Same thing with RAM, make sure it's stock JEDEC and not XMP.

A good 550W is fine for your specs, it shouldn't draw over that on max load unless it's really old and getting on.

Thanks everything for your help, BIOS update seems to fixed most issues. Just one more question, under Rzyen Master app i have EDC (CPU) and i have noticed thcan get to 99% of 125 a, limit A. Anyone know if this is important?

BIOS update and new PSU helped. Was only on a 400w PSU.PBTech sale got me a 850w.
