hi every one,

I am looking for a printer for home use. It is for maybe 1 use every 2moth or more on printing, But scanning is maybe every 2 or 3 weeks and most of the time it is two side doc that im scanning

However most of model spec online does not mention whether they can or not do 2 side scanning. Does anyone own a basic laser printer that can do 2 side scanning? Please give me some feedback if you do.

thanks advances,

Sam

Hi,

You're welcome to this if you want to see if a good head clean will get it fully printing: https://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=77&topicid=240928

Scanning works great on it :)

For my next printer I would be looking for one that also support the Mopria wireless standard (Mobile printing alliance).  According to reviews this works brilliantly well with Android 8/9 and is a real game changer. This may or may not be important to you!  The Mopria symbol is a tear drop shaped symbol made of colour dots.   As I primarily use Linux I will probably get a HP printer.  At the moment only a few HP printers seem to support this Mopria thing.

I find Brother Laser multifunctions good for home, far better than inkjets that last a year or two, but you'll have to confirm double sided scanning.
