I can't get Vimeo videos to play in Chrome browser. Just a blank screen. They work fine in Firefox. I did some searching but can't find any real answers. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Any ad blockers, privacy filter? I played a Vimeo video just today on Chrome...

Just uBlock Origin. I disabled it but it didn't make any difference. I'm sure it's something in my settings. It usually is.

It works in Firefox so I assume so.

My bad. You are absolutely right. I keep forgetting. I am actually using Comodo Dragon which is very similar to Chrome and for some reason that always slips my mind and I keep thinking it actually is Chrome. What can I say? I am an old person.

Anyway, I just tried the real Chrome and Vimeo plays fine. Apologies for wasting everybody's time again.

Always interesting to hear about new browsers, even if they are Chrome based ; ).

Might as well use Chromium itself: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromium_(web_browser)

It probably has the same Vimeo problem lacking h264 by default I'm guessing.
