Hey GZers!

I'm looking at two cards. The first is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 FE, with the second being the EVGA RTX 2060 XC Ultra.

What I'm wondering is if anyone has ever ordered a FE card from the GeForce store in AU, and how much it bumped the price up by when the card got to customs. That's pretty much the deciding factor with this card

The FE cards aren't anything special - they're certainly better for the RTX series, but I'd only buy them as a last resort. You'll absolutely get a better device out of the EVGA.

I'm being a bit harsh to be fair - I'd take a FE over a Galax or something, but the top tier vendors like EVGA, Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, and co will all put out a better product than the Founders Edition cards. The only reason to get them is for their aesthetic, everything else about them is middle of the road at best, with no bells and whistles.

From what I've read and/or seen the FE cards use 'A' binned chips, where it's silicon lottery with any other vendor. Any thoughts?

The A bin chips cost the vendors a bit more, so you'll find them in the high end versions of the cards.

In theory, anything with a factory overclock will be A Binned, as supposedly Nvidia doesn't allow factory OC's on non-A binned chips. Not that it matters if you're not planning on overclocking though, as it won't make much of a difference there.
