Right so it has now started .. me vs my kids, the prize .. unrestricted internet access!
So my kids are of the age now where they are getting more tech savvy as well as getting tips from friends on circumventing the basic internet filters I have put it :-)
Anyone have some recommendations for software that can be installed on Chromebooks and will block anything I chose as well as let me add to the block list easily (at the moment I just use the Fritzbox blacklist against their laptop IPs) and also give me a nice set of reports on what is installed and accessed ?
I did get pointed to a NZ bit of software that also allows teachers/parents to via their screens in real time and allows apps to be shutdown with just a click, but I wrote it on a scrap bit of paper and now can't remember it.
Basically I want to go all Big Brother on them till they learn some self control (do homework, don't sneak laptop to bed and play Tanki!)
