Hi guys, as per title I'm in the market for a new monitor and desk.
I got my wife a Philips Brilliance 258B6QUEB USB-C monitor and really like the one-plug convenience, so am now looking to get a USB-C screen for myself around $1000.
I don't game at all, the main use will be for Finalcut Pro X editing on 2018 Macbook Pro
Options:
Philips 328P6VUBREB - 32", 16:9, 2840x2160, VA, HDR600, 138% sRGB.
LG 27UK850 - 27", 16:9, 2840x2160, IPS, HDR10, 99% sRGB.
Samsung C34H890 - 34" Curved, 21:9, VA, no HDR, unspecified sRGB but possibly 95%.
Each has pros/cons. Philips on paper is brighter and has broader colour gamut, but I prefer IPS panels like the LG has, and the Samsung's ultra wide screen would be great for fcpx timelines.
Any advice/thoughts?
Also does anyone know any good online places to buy modern style desks (preferably 1500x700 size)?
