hi

i just wondering if anyone has experience with fixing cd/dvd drive. i got lg dvd burner which does not close.
it open for the full length but i only go in for like 2 cm and then it stuck and can only pull back...

what happen was my friend walk into the tray when it was open...

any idea how to fix or what part to replace?

If you have tried to force the tray you will have probably broken the mechanism.

Try using the emergency eject button by pushing a paper clip in and then see if you can manually close the tray.

anyway i was just take it apart and it seem like nothing bloke inside.. so i try to take the tray out and put  it back it. now tray is back in and hopefully it will work..
i just hope i can put everything back in one piece..
