Missing .Bin file. Unstalled AVG before realising it was fault with AVG.

Have reinstalled but disabled update for now, as don't wish to lose update ability because AVG forgot to include a file with latest update.

Found file on their web page "IAVI:/ 1616" but says not to use with free version AVG. Go to free version page and when click on file same name, and size comes back with can't find file.

See what happens, but might go to different anti virus if not solved soon.

Files where says not for free version:

Files for free version but required file above cannot be found when click on its link

If someone knows when issue sorted can please post so I'll know safe to update, thanks.

Why not just go for avast www.avast.com and download free home edition.

AVG is pretty bad, though in AV-Comparitives tests Avast actually gets lower than it. Funnily enough Norton gets lower than both.

I'd suggest Ariva Antivir free, its probably the best free antivirus. Only downside is the ads which ask you to upgrade which can easily be removed using google.
