Anyone know why this error would occur ?

Weve been getting it when remoting into one of our offices - its only started happening since we switched to Orcon from Paradise.
Happens at random

Been in touch with Orcon who dont know whats causing it.

Not sure what it is but things to check:

a. Make sure the PC is not in the DMZ on your router
b. Make sure the proper RDP ports are forwarded
c. Make sure RD is allowed in the Windows Firewall

However if you have more than one PC, forwarding RDP ports on your router is a pain.

My suggestion? Install LogMeIn... The free version will do just fine and requires no port forwarding on any router.

Everythings forwarded etc fine....  I can get to the PC but then it drops out with that error. And as I mentioned, it was all working fine until we swapped ISP.

Unfortunately its a business system, no other remote access allowed. Might get the office to swap out the router for a spare they have and see what happens...

Hmmm. In which case I would suspect the ISP is blocking some ports then...

Does it happen as soon as you connect or can you use RD for a while before this happens?

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

Sometimes Im on it for a couple of minutes, other times its within 10s.
Then some days I dont have an issue with it.

I can live with it, but it is frustrating Tongue out
