Been wanting to get a decent case for my unRaid server so after a lot of uming and arhing and some research I settled on the Corsair Carbide 678C LOW NOISE White Edition.

It has been quite awhile since I did a new build and it took me most of the day to complete. I really like the simplicity and clean look of this case and was very easy to work on.

Nice, I'm in the process of upgrading my unRAID server as well, it's such a great platform. Would be great if there was a 'home server' subforum.

What are the specs of your build?

That is insanely good looking for a server! My home server has disks crammed in every nook and cranny. But yea, it's too much of a job to turn it off and do ti properly haha!

Looks like some fairly high-end hardware in there? Ryzen 3rd gen?

nice work - how is the noise as I see you have the top plate off for the fans to vent?

Must run pretty cool with all those fans.

SSDs on the backside, I am guessing. With only 6 HDD, if you need to expand storage, this would be increase disk size rather then numbers?

Yes temps are very low and works very well, 6 x 12tb = 72tb I think that will last me awhile lol

Very nice.

Unraid + Ryzen is a really good combination.

Photo does not do it justice, although it sits out in the garage the cat admires it at night I am sure.

Your very own red light district, I am jealous...

Nice one.

Makes my 8 year old unRAID box with 12 disks crammed in look rather sad in comparison : )
