Anyone bought an external hard drive made by Novus Oyen Digital? They do them all the way up to 16TB.

Would buying one from the US be an issue for the power supply - other than a socket adaptor?

The one I found on the web used a plug pack.  They are less likely to be NZ compatible than something with a builtin power supply, so you may have to buy an NZ 12 volt plug pack to replace it.  Take no chances - unless it says it can do 230 volts (not 220), you will need to replace it.  Otherwise it will be a fire risk.  Depending on how many amps the drive needs, it would be $20-45 for a decent one here.  Do not buy a super cheap one - they fail in a year or two.  Jaycar usually sell good ones.

Thanks mate.

The product's manual says it's a 12V/2A power adaptor so I should be OK. I'll get it checked out before I go ahead and buy though.
