Has anyone received the Win 10 20H2 update via Windows Update yet?

I have on my last remaining Windows machine a Surface Laptop 3. You can force it through the update assistant if you want it quicker

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

I have some machines H2 available in Windows Update as an 'Optional' update. I have other machines H2 not available at all. It was the same for 2004. Be thankful other people are first in line I say.

I just wanted to know whether anyone in NZ had received it yet via Windows Update. Seems then location is not the issue but still compatibility issues. Thanks.

MS have a machine learning process to decide which machines get updates:

Sometimes they'll upgrade a few and then no more for a while.

My laptop successfully installed 20H2 on 26/10/20.  It is even slower starting than previously, otherwise OK

Several machines in H2 now...... I always reload at the October release, its a good opportunity to keep my install clean

I don't know if I am happy about the removal of the system control panel but its the obvious move MS is going to removing the control panel

My laptop got 20H2 some time ago.  My desktop got it a couple of days ago.  The desktop failed to do the update and needed some cleanup of old files before it succeeded on the second try.

Got the update via Windows Update a while ago. Seems to be working fine however it's not a PC I often use.

Hopefully they have it all covered in settings now, or else it's back to registry hacking.

Arrived on my Dell laptop and my desktop (and indeed on my LattePanda!) a few days ago.  Going well, except some desktop printer (Brother) problems, have to keep running the troubleshooter which finds no problem but printer then works!

Same. Laptop done yesterday, desktop - nothing.
