How many people actually managed to buy a AMD 6000 series GPU today ?

I was pressing F5 at launch. Either there was next to no stock or the bots picked everything up. The listings appeared and were sold out seconds later.

Loaded up the page at 2:58, refreshed the page at 3AM was sold out on PB Tech. Went to Computer lounge and they had the same story, pre-ordered via there instead but doubt I will get the reference design which is a shame as its the only card that will fit in my Ghost S1 (6800 non XT)

I stayed up prepped for the release and sold out straight away at PB. Computer Lounge was backordered straight away also.

Really disappointed - I am guess I am waiting until next year to upgrade my GTX 1070. Getting so tired of scalpers snatching up these cards.

They're already up on eBay - https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=6800+xt&_sacat=0 and people are already placing fake bids on them to try to ensure the scalpers don't manage to successfully sell them.

Inventory and supply is stuffed on a lot of things right now. Playstation 5 , Xbox X, last gen GPU's.

I am looking at building a new rig and so many parts are out of stock it's not even funny - cases, coolers, psu's. It's pretty wild.

Hope my 1070 hangs on a bit longer too haha.

luckily for me I still have my 1080TI, so i can wait, as it still does well in all the games I play.

But you would think that AMD would have learned from Nvidia's mistakes

I'm waiting for case restock and my 5900x to be in stock. Otherwise, have managed to grab all the other parts. Only Courier post are winning from this having to spend well more than normal buying part by part instead of everything from the same shop at the same time.

Crossing my fingers that computer lounge are able to pull through with a reference cooler but doubting it.

It's not over till the courier post tracking info gets sent, but I think I managed to get one via PB Tech.

I was looking at the website and It stated "3 in others basket" I just kept refreshing till it said add to basket. I've paid for it and now its says "picking" so now I wait. Still super doubtful, but it looks like there may be some stock still at PB tech?

So glad I grabbed a RTX3080 when I F5 and saw one in stock. Didn't want to spent FTW ultra money, but so glad to now have all the parts so can just get on and assemble instead of awaiting for stock!

Think I'm just going to wait till mid next year for my new build. A lot of other things are also out of stock for months - cases, psus, ram. Never seen it this bad.

Yeah its crazy, basically had to get every part shipped by itself (as it was in stock) so spent well more than normal on shipping as well given paid for each part to be shipped by itself:(
