I upgraded to a Dual Core and my motherboard has no Parallel Port, I brought a ST Labs PCI Parallel Port card to connect to my Panasonic DP-1810F (printer/copier/scanner/fax). I can print but can not communicate to the scanner using the Panasonic Document Management System, I checked Device Manager and instead of showing a ECP Printer Port LPT1 port type it shows "PCI Parallel Port" as port type. If I can get a ECP Printer Port to show as port type I'm sure I can use the Panasonic Document Management System to communitcate to the scanner, anybody know what hardware I need or how to setup a ECP Port in Device Manager?
