I have a large number of files from an Amiga, which are named as "extension.filename" instead of the Windows syntax of "filename.extension"   ie:  mod.file  vs  file.mod

Is there any easy way to move the extension over to the Windows syntax without doing them manually ? :)

Prob is something staring me right in the face but Im tired..... :D

Another option is to download Microsoft PowerToys. It has a bulk file renamer along with some other cool things.

I'm a big fan of Irfanview. Don't know if it would do this, but I wouldn't be surprised.
