I have some of these monitors that my company issued to staff due to the fleet upgrade. We still use a lot of them for our VDI etc.

I thought I would be able to connect a PS4 using an HDMI-DVI cable. But I cannot get the signal thru to the monitor.

In fact I cant get any of the kids laptops to work either.

Would be grateful for any assistance from the community!

If you check the second page of this quick start guide, it says the DVI connection is output only. The only input this device has is the VGA connection, so you could use an HDMI to VGA connection, which are not common but are available if you look around. I think these adapters have some electronics in them, so they are a few $.

This is the HDMI to VGA converter I am using so that I can keep on using my old KVM switch with my upgraded PCs that now only have HDMI or DVI-D output:

I am not using the audio out feature though - I have the audio daisy chained between PCs so that I get sound from all of them at once.

The video quality is excellent on my ancient Dell 2707WFP 1080x1200 monitor and the EDID data from the monitor is passed through properly.
