Probably a stupid question, but does Dell ship to anywhere else in the country apart from Auckland, Wellington, Rotorua, Christchurch and Nelson? Went to buy a monitor online and those places are the only ones listed under the 'State' field when entering address. Chatting with the online representative proved worse than useless.

you're right about lack of options, it's the postcode that matters.

Thanks, I was a bit worried about ordering and not having the item turn up.

I had trouble with flat numbering in their addressing system but talking to them the first time via an e-mail order ticket they fixed it up for me. I've just ordered a battery and paid for it as per a received quote from them and not heard a peep in a couple of weeks though so it seems very wishy washy on who you get for the order and whether they can be bothered... pinged them again two days ago and nothing still

dont most companies use a proper API that draws addresses from NZpost or somewhere so formatting etc is all correct?

Most probably do, dell doesn't

kept placing a flat number on the line after the primary street number which would most likely cause the package to be delivered to the wrong address.....

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Does it work if you add your address through the account page, then select that as your delivery?

You're not on Atlantis anymore, Duncan Idaho.

I always just picked the nearest option and made sure the rest of the address (postcode especially) was correct.

Despite the confirmation emails showing the "state" as part of the address, most of the orders' invoices showed the correct address. A few didn't, but those still arrived within the expected timeframes.

Most do, Dell doesn't though.

Even though it was a good deal, I decided to cancel my order and instead look elsewhere.
