Hey there, just looking for some suggestions on how to best control 2 computers (1 desktop and 1 laptop) connected to 1 shared monitor.

I currently have a cheap wireless keyboard + mouse set.

Do i

  • Buy a separate wired gaming keyboard + mouse for my desktop PC and keep the current wireless for my laptop
  • Buy a new wireless gaming keyboard and wireless mouse which has bluetooth so i can toggle between my desktop and laptop
  • Something else?

And also would appreciate any suggestions on a gaming + office keyboard and mouse please?

Thanks in advance

I use a ugreen USB switch from Amazon. Keyboard, mouse, USB sound are plugged into the switch, and it plugs into USB 3 on each computer. I hit a button and it switches which computer the peripherals are associated with. It takes 1-3 seconds to switch.

I use Logitech MX Master mouse and a Das Keyboard mechanical keyboard, for office type work not gaming.

Yes it works when devices are asleep. I just switch to the device I want and then hit the keyboard to wake it up.

Thinking i might go down the wireless route…
Is anyone using the Logitech G915? Thoughts/feedback please?
Also would appreciate any recommendations for a dual connectivity mouse to go with this.
Thanks in advance

That's a very expensive keyboard. MX Master is a great wireless mouse, which I use with a wired DAS Keyboard.

I've got a Das Pro 4 with Brown switches, and a Keychron K2 with browns. Both are nice, but I probably prefer the Das.

MX Master for a mouse. The Das and the MX Master seem to be the tokin desktop go to at the moment from what I can tell.
