Getting tired of my old mouse which is just a Logitech M185 its a cheap and nasty little critter.

I would prefer a bluetooth one and it would be used with my mac mini, I only need the mouse as have an apple keyboard so don't need a combo.

I did have an apple mouse at one stage but hated it so sold it.

Would be used for general use, Not used for gaming or the likes.

It's a really personal choice.  I like the HP z5000 bluetooth mouse but many find it too flat (it's full size but slim to fit into a laptop bag).  I detested the really heavy Logitech mouse that a client loves.  Everyone else struggles with my logitech MX Ergo trackball but after getting early symptoms of RSI I switched to this for work-from-home and I love it.  The Kensington trackball on my office desk that I've trained myself to use left handed gets even worse reviews from everyone else!!

I'm still rocking my very longtime personal favourite MX1100.

Battery life is excellent, was fast enough for gaming when I used to do that, is super comfortable, and has lasted about 10 years already with few signs of wear.

Simple - the MX Master 3.

Great scrolling, comfortable, great battery life, connects up to 3 devices (Logitech Flow is handy too) and as a whole it is just a darn good mouse. I personally use one at Work and also at Home.

it's not a bluetooth mouse and you would sacrifice a USB port but i use this one. Couldn't recommend it highly enough, works on windows and linux, so I don't see why it wouldn't also work on mac. it's light and you can fit the adapter back into the mouse for storage and transport. no linux software though but it's not strictly necessary unless you want to get super granular with the DPI settings, there's a wee button on the underside to cycle through the preset values.

Logitech MX Master - I have v1 and v2, I'd buy the latest version which v3. They last years. Wireless, Bluetooth, another RF protocol as well.

Yep works well with all platforms. I use it between my MacBook, work computer and my desktop.

Edit: I didn’t know there was a “Mac optimised” version but can confirm the regular version works 100% fine.

Another vote for the MX master 3 (it's what I run).

Spouse has just changed from the MX master 3 to MX vertical and is fully sold on it (had never used a vertical mouse before). Got her the MX keys keyboard (little one with no numeric pad), so she doesn't have to kick her arm so far right to use the mouse.

Be aware that the MX Keys Mini uses and doesn't include the new (and not backwards comparable) bolt USB receiver, not the common unifying one that the mice use. No issue if you use bluetooth.

What did you say? What have I told you about sharing misinformation on the forums? The Magic Mouse is bloody terrible!

I prefer the MX Anywhere.  But it's personal preference.

Generally people consider Bianca from the Rescuers to be a good mouse.

Sorry, couldn't resist - on a more serious note, I am rather fond of the Microsoft Arc Mouse for work and the Razer Naga mice for play. Not everyone likes the haptic feedback scroll-wheel on the Arc though (i.e. there is no scroll wheel, you just obsessively stroke the mouse and it vibrates in response). The snap flat to turn off feature for the Arc is also very useful, makes it very quick to turn on and off as well as convenient to store. Very costly compared to Logitech mice though.

God knows how anyone uses a Magic Mouse and doesn't end up with RSI

I think the MX Master 3 Mac is just a different colour and doesn't come with a usb c cable.
