Hello,

Was wondering if i could get some help please.

If i had the numbers 1(start) - 30(end), the numbers in between i want are 10 & 20. How do i do that with dates?

Random example:

Cell A1 has the start date 1/1/2022

Cell A2 is empty

Cell A3 is empty

Cell A4 has the end date 14/3/2022

What would the formula be to find the dates to fill cells A2 & A3?

I know in cell A2 i can do =AVERAGE(A1,A4) & that will give me the middle date between start date & end date. But i would like to fill both empty cells. In 1/4's i guess?

Any help much appreciated.

Thank you

You can add and subtract dates just like any other formula. If you subtract your end date (A4) from your start date (A1), you get 72 days. You can then add a fraction of the 72 to the start date to figure out the dates in between.
