Hi all,

Any recommendations for upgrading a home pc in Christchurch? Just some extra RAM and a new HDD at this stage. I'm not up to installing it myself.

Was thinking of going back to PB Tech or trying Geeks on Wheels.....anyone used them before?

Thanks,

Sean

Avoid Geeks on Wheels like the plague IMHO.

PBTech will be fine, otherwise Dragon PC if it's still around.

Or find a local friendly Geekzone member who will do it for a box of beer :)

But yeah, avoid the "mobile" guys, they charge an arm and a leg.

Are there any Chch based friendly geekzone gurus who would be keen to earn a few extra buck or beers?

What side of town are you on? By new Hdd, is this replacing the existing drive or just an additional one inside a desktop pc?
