I'm looking at upgrading to a couple of new Dell monitors, a couple of the guys I work with in the UK have said that they have outstanding support with their warranties but I can't work out why I'd get one over the other here.

Or even if its worth paying the extra for in NZ? Anyone had any dealings with them in this regard?

Appears you're adding additional?

They're likely referring to the U/ultrasharp range - come with nbd 3-5yr 0pixel 'premium panel exchange' standard

https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-nz/000126004/dell-display-pixel-guidelines

The consumer range however...

That’s a nice little table that I hadn’t seen before.

I was more curious if anyone here ever bothers adding their extended warranties and if you get the Pro or the Premium. I normally wouldn’t bother but as they aren’t that expensive I was considering it.

I always find it interesting that display manufacturers think they can contract out of the CGA by saying that one or more bad pixels is ok.  It is not, it is a fault that requires either being fixed or the unit replaced or a full refund.

Just putting it out there for people that do not know.

There are two discount codes you can use at the moment (there may be others that I am not aware of). Sometimes they stack, sometimes they do not.

5% off with student code
