Hi all,

I was wondering if the flash drive is repairable? each pin needs to soldered back together between the two pieces. Is there anywhere that could do this? preferably in Christchurch but I can obviously send it anywhere to be done.

Its not the drive I care about, its the files on it which are not backed up anywhere else.

Thanks,

_David_

That certainly looks doable to me. I would solder short lengths of wire to the pins to connect them rather than trying to reassemble the unit.

Where are you located? I'm happy to sort that for you if you're in the Dunedin/Otago area.

I had these guys recommended for a board-level repair about 10 years ago.  Couriers make them not being local a little less important.

They have just finished a third job for me that I need to go and pick up. :)
