As per the title, I recently got a new laptop and installed the latest version of Chrome.

Sites that Geekzone, TradeMe, etc usually loads and logs me in automatically.

For some strange reason, both sites (but not exclusive to these sites) want me to click the login button to get in - with my credentials prepopulated.

My settings on Chrome is on default.

Any ideas why this may be?

Looks like you're talking about Chrome browser, and not Chrome OS, so have moved this to the correct sub-forum. Let me know if this is incorrect.

I see you mention your settings are default. You haven't by some chance installed an extension of some type that clears cookies or anything each time you close Chrome?

Nope, just checked my extensions, have none.

What usually happens is that it works fine for a day, but the next day the issue returns. Not a massive inconvenience but it's odd.
