I have an Epson XP-860 connected via USB to a desktop computer running Windows 10.

Regularly it fails to complete the print job, printing only a few lines. I get an error message on the computer saying that it could not complete the job.

However it is still in print queue and will try again. Sometimes it will print correctly, but sometimes it fails again.

Any thoughts

Thanks
Graeme

Have you made sure the PC has the latest drivers installed from the manufacturers website?

Have you tried another cable or another USB port on the computer?

Sorry, my bad

I should have said that I have re-set the printer to factory default

I have deleted all the software from my computer and reinstalled as if it was a new printer

No I haven't

I think I have a spare printer cable, so thanks, I will try that.
