I am not a big user of Google Drive.

I don't understand what is automatically creating 50 MB buckets named (for example) '52.bucket.2'. There could be over 100 individual files.

Some of the buckets have an image of (say) a person, who I recognise, which has come from a photo.

A search implies buckets are created in Google Cloud, which I have never used.
