Hello,

I have an XP SP2 machine, and I want to move the desktop to a separate partition to my system partition. I moved it over to a different partition, and it copied over, but now it duplicates everything I put on it. I tried moving it back, but it still duplicates everything. Does anyone know how to get rid of this rather annoying problem?

Thanks,
Arachan.

- Open RegEdit

- Head over to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

- Change the location in the "Desktop" item on the right pane.

- Reboot
