In the process of moving email from RegisterDirect to Tuffmail.

Interested if anyone else has used Tuffmail and their thoughts? Also, if anyone has used any other IMAP providers that might be worth looking at, i.e. Fastmail.

Main advantages for Tuffmail over Reg Direct.

1. Significantly larger mailboxes, server side SPAM filtering and IMAP-IDLE.

2. Dedicated SMTP server. Reg direct don't have an SMTP server so it get's problematic using email in different locations or on an iPhone (using vodafone SMTP server is not always reliable and wouldn't work overseas)

Quite happy using both Google Apps and Dreamhost for various domains. Dreamhosts IMAP has always been pretty good, plus authenticating SMTP server (smtp.yourname.co.nz).

Another vote for google apps. Very powerful and loads of features. Cheers matt

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.
