Hi Guys,

I bought a computer from everyones mate Trademe late last year. I'm pretty stoked with it, but I get the feeling I need a new mobo.

The board I have is really quite average, though Im not sure what it is, some sort of foxtel.

CPU - Q6600
GFX - ATI HD4850 512mb
SND - M-Audio Delta 1010 LT (PCI)
RAM -4GB DDR2-800 Dual Channel

Basically I've been having mad amounts of trouble setting up my M-Audio properly. there seem to be IRQ conflicts and all sorts, but since the gfx card is so massive it covers up one of the pci slots, leaving me with only one option of where to put it.

Games also seem to give me some grief, the ATI utility seems to crash an awful lot.

Any tips on which motherboard to get? I guess Im looking to spend close to, or under 200 squids.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Leary.

I recently had to change my motherboard, as mine failed, and opted for the ASUS P5Q Pro. Its a fantastic little board.
I'd suggest something from the P5Q range, maybe the P5Q-E, which I believe is the same, but without an additional PCIe x16 slot.
