Howdy..

I've been tasked with editing our Wedding video.

Guy who filmed it dumped it down to dvd... no problem, I've managed to grab the video off dvd and remux it to mpeg2.

Does anyone know of a decent and easy to use video editing programme for windows.. thats free?

Thanks,
Grant

VirtualDub is good for some raw work. But I think AVIDeMux might be easier to use.

http://debugmode.com/wax/ Is kind of old but might have some functions that may be good for you too.

There might also be some VJ (Video Jockey) that could do some other effects but I can't think of anything atm.

Bear in mind that you'll want to make sure the software can edit without reencoding, for maximum quality. Or you should try and see if you can get the raw footage to work with.
