This is an area I do not have any clue about

Looking for a 775 socket motherboard,

with an IDE connector, and a PCI and a few PCI-E connectors

also with room for at least 4 Sata connectors

I have heard that good to get the new ones with solid capacitors,

dont need on board video as will do it via a dedicated card.

What is something good to use, will be with an E6300 processor

any pointers ?

I would recommend an Asus or Gigabyte Intel P45 chipset based board. They both make a range of options with slightly different configurations.

Do you already have RAM, is it DDR2 or DDR3? If you don't I would recommend DDR2 as it's still cheaper than DDR3 and the real world performance difference is negligible for a socket 775 cpu like the E6300.

Something like this would suit your requirements (assuming you have/get DDR2 ram)

ASUS P5Q SE2 INTEL P45 DDR2

Are you going to overclock it?
