Hi,

I'm trying to set up Gmail IMAP with Windows Live Mail on Windows 7.

My Gmail mail is arranged using labels. I set up the account in Windows Mail following the Google instructions and synced and my labels all appeared as folders but there was also a [Gmail] top level folder with Sent/Trash/Spam etc under it. Then I tired entering [Gmail] as the root folder which worked but then all the label folders disappeared.

What do I do to get rid of the [Gmail] folder in Windows Mail and have Sent/Spam/Trash etc on the same level as my label folders?

Cheers

I have my "Root Folder Path" set to: [Google Mail]

Otherwise I kept getting those duplicate folders you mentioned.
