Hey all I'm looking to build a computer I'm bascially a noob at computer building so generally I want to set up one for 3D work and probably to play some hardware demanding games like wolfenstein

I once talked about it to a friend and he suggested there are sites I can look around in NZ and look for the parts I could use also it would be a help to see what kind of recommendations on specs I would need too

Computer Lounge in Auckland. Free shipping, good pricing, and one of few computer shops that do a good job of building a PC for you.

Did uni/tech/school start? Suddenly 2 guys in 2 days wanting to build very similar PCs.

Well the budget i'm unsure of since I'm just getting a picture of what I need first probably will need montior and OS not too keen on visita and windows 7 I'm not sure how well that is

so I'm guessing I'd need the parts for the tower itself and keyboard modem card etc etc

Not sure on if techs started I'm looking at getting a desk top as my laptop is pretty old and at most I'm just surfing the net with it and its being slow at that :P

Schools just started and Uni's starting in just under a month.
You might be better buying something pre-built from somewhere like pb technology, as you dont really sound like you have the faintest idea of what you are doing.
