Hey guys I need some help over here...



I want to ask, what is the highest AMD CPU that can work properly on my M2N-MX SE motherboard?


i am now using Sempron something 3000+  i dont really know what is the speed is my cpu now


and how about RAM??

That board is AM2 so you are probably looking at a 5050e processor which is a good speed bump over your sempron.

Most of the other AM2 processors are now unavailable.




Generally known online as OpenMedia, now working for Red Hat APAC as a Technology Evangelist and Portfolio Architect. Still playing with MythTV and digital media on the side.

I am currently running 2G ram and 8400 card~~

i know my motherboard cant overclock, not sure i should upgrade base on this board or just change the motherboard to intel base...

you could bump up the ram and change the cpu but the cost of that you could start to build a new system

gigabyte are doing some very good boards at good price's but what do you want a high end gaming rig or

a internet surfing machine or has your current setup got a virus and slowed down as a result
