The Commodore 64 has been reincarnated as a 3GHz quad-core PC with 3D graphics, Gigabit Ethernet, a DVD-RW drive, and a 500GB hard disk. All that's left is the built-in keyboard. And the name.
I am seriously considering getting one, even if just for the nostalgic value of it. The first computer my family owned, and the first computer I ever did any programming/gaming on, was a C64. They still have it in fact, complete with the external fdd, paddle controllers, joystick and tape drive.
I'm sure some people will love the idea but really if you want to run anything from C46 or Amiga 500 etc you can already do so on any PC with an emulator.
But It's not running a C64 OS anyway Ragnor. It's just for the sake of fond memories (name) and style (PC built into the keyboard). Will run Windows, Linux and Apple's OS.
