As the final component of my long awaiting upgrade build happens to be the hard drive im really having a toughie trying to decide which one to choose!!

Ive got my eye on two products:

OCZ Agility 2 Series SATA II 2.5" SSD 100GB
-retails around $600

OR

Western Digital VelociRaptor 600GB 10000RPM SATAIII
 - retails around $500+ BUT these are not available in the country yet! (Delayed til mid june)

(ive also got the option to go with the Western Digital VelociRaptor 450GB sata3 version ($450ish) but i thought why not spend the xtra for double the space if going with this choice)

Setup is a core i7 runnning single gtx 480 on x58 mb, 6gb ddr3 :)
I will just be running the os (win7 x64) and games/main apps on the hard drive so wouldnt mind a bit of space! Ridiculous how the 250gb ssds are like $1000-$1500+ still..

cheers!!

I would go for the SSD, it would be quieter and draw heaps less power.
Plus I like this HotHardware review.
