howdy all,

for the life of me I cannot get thunderbird to send mail via my hotmail account, anyone able to provide SMTP settings that are working for them at the moment? Mine just seemed to stop working out of the blue.

I've checked all appropriate firewall ports are open, and I can ping smtp.live.com with an average of 331ms.
A tracert makes it eventually with a timeout near the beginning...

Cheers

What ISP and plan are you on?

For example, Telecom's BigTime blocks outbound SMTP connections on port 25.
