Hi there thank you for reading this post and please if you know where i can find this drivers or have same motherboard please let me know I already searched google for hours and no luck... Motherboard is Soltec SL-86DRV4-c
most things are working but sound... cheers

Try Downloading the "Realtek AC97" driver .

It is a long shot but this one of the *Most* common sound chips on motherboards these days.

Might help if you spelt it "SOLTEK" instead of "SOLTEC".

Does it not come in a box or with manual or even driver disc?? That model you provided doesn't seem to exist at all.

I'm suspecting this is from a brandname PC as it is not a normal motherboard model.

OEM manufactured for likely an Acer or similar?

If so, you'll need to know the version of the model it was from to dig out the audio.

But as suggested. 90% of the time a realtek chipset is used. Find it on the motherboard, ATX standards usually put them just below the rear panel ports, or at the very back of the PCI slots.

Depending on the common age, it will either be an AC97 chipset

With a slimmer chance of it being 5.1+ HD unless it is relativly new (you may be able to tell from the back output number)

Else if the main chipset is Nforce, they often used their own packaged AC97 codecs that may not be detected.

hi thanks, I used Everest Ultimate to see what was the mobo number then i searched for drivers and nothing I tried the realtek and installs however after restart pc no sound because device can´t start. I tried other drivers and nothing seem to work. will have to leave it for couple of days to wear off the frustrationl...
